We love C.R. Gibbs for the food. The menu is always changing but everything is always delicious. It's a great place for families, large groups or just a date night. They have a great outdoor space during the summer months.

We love the food and the people here. My husband often takes our daughter here for Saturday morning daddy dates. It's also great for lunches, we've had many lunch meetings here.

We love sushi and we think this is the best in town. They also have large grills where the chefs prepare the food right at your table, which is super fun (and yummy). Everything is always good and the atmosphere is fun and modern.

About 20 min east, right on the way back from Mt. Lassen, is a quaint little town called Palo Cedro. This restaurant is a must visit if you are in the area. Their burgers are fabulous, chicken is the best I've ever had, and all their freshly made pastries and desserts are worth the trip alone.

We love this for the obvious reason, it's our family winery, but the award winning wine is delicious and speaks for itself. Their motto "come as guests, leave as family" is so true, make sure you plan your afternoon around it because the winemaker loves to talk wine. :)

Carousel is my favorite place to shop for clothes. It's a boutique located in one of the oldest buildings in Redding. The clothes are beautiful, the customer service is off the charts and you are guaranteed to walk out of there with something you love.
