One of the better, old SF, restaurants in Firsherman's Wharf. Also, it's fun to grab a shrimp cocktail from the fish monger's stalls and a loaf a sour dough - makes a great lunch.

If you're down in the Mission and want a burger this is the place. Featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, they make a good burger. There are bowling lanes in the downstairs portion of the restaurant and they make nick cocktails.

I've added some of my favorite restaurants, neighborhoods, and bars/venues but by all means do the following if you haven't yet: Visit Golden Gate Park Drive or take the 44 bus to visit the park. The DeYoung Museum usually has excellent special exhibits. The Japanese Tea garden is quiet lovely, especially in the spring. There are many walking paths and places for picnics and a free shuttle to different areas. Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge Be sure to bring a jacket as it's usually windy and chilly.
