Beautiful trails and beautiful scenery throughout the park. It’s a great place to watch a sunrise or sunset — and offers a stunning array of colors in the fall! Definitely worth the short drive.

Although it apparently won’t come up on here, Red is one of the best places in town for Chinese food. IU students from China have repeatedly told me it has the closest thing to “real Chinese food.”

Looking for a local dive bar? This is one of the top places to go. The food menu is nothing elaborate, people are always surprised by how good it is ... especially for such reasonable prices. They have a couple of pool tables and they even have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights if you're feeling bold (or just want to see others who are bold enough to sing).
