This local fast food place is simple, quality, and reminiscent of diners back in the day. We really like the chicken sandwich, burger, and pulled pork sandwich, and fresh fries. The Berry Hill location has a slide outside that our kids enjoy.

Southern Food Cafeteria-style. It’s a local favorite that is only open for lunch on weekdays. There are daily specials, so check out the menu online. We really like the pies when we’re feeling indulgent. There’s usually a line, but it moves very quickly. The seats open up pretty quickly as well.

When we are craving pasta (and an easy quick meal) this is our go-to! They have fresh pastas, great salads, desserts, and an easy/casual atmosphere that’s great for families with young children. We like the lunch specials here and the happy hour.

It’s a great coffee shop and cafe/bar. We like to get work done here and have snacks/lunch throughout the day. You get table service like a restaurant, but working with your laptop is encouraged and normal here. Great place to get work done and people watch.

We love this fast, healthy(ish), inexpensive, casual spot. We get the quarter rotisserie chicken (with jerk sauce) and sides (Cuban black beans, Bean & corn salad, callaloo greens) and fruit tea!
