SeaWorld is an amazing place to spend a day or two with the family. Great rides, shows and lots of places to eat available on site. The water park "Aquatica" allows for thrilling water rides or just relaxing in the sun! Best of all....The house is only about 3 miles from the park.

Six Flags- Fiesta Texas is a thrill ride lovers dream- lots to do in this park and if here during the summer, the water park is a definite must do.

If you are not from Texas this is a must for grocery shopping...lots of local foods and beers not found in WalMart and a GREAT place to have a meal. There is an on-site grill where you can choose flame broiled chicken with all the trimmings- Eat in or take home and enjoy at the house. Prices can't be beat.

Where most business centers in many cities are shut down on weekends the heart of San Antonio and it's pride and joy is our very own Riverwalk. A must see along with the Alamo, and the nearby missions. Great food, sightseeing and a boat ride on the river make this a great lace to spend an day.

River WalkIf in San Antonio you cannot leave without visiting the Riverwalk downtown. Where most business centers in many cities are shut down on weekends the heart of San Antonio and it's pride and joy is our very own Riverwalk. A must see along with the Alamo, and the nearby missions. Great food, sightseeing and a boat ride on the river make this a great lace to spend an day.
For those not familiar with Taco Cabana, it is probably the best fast food Mexican chain in the world! Prices are great, food is AMAZING and if you are a Margarita fan you have to try theirs! Even better...no tips here!

Voted among the top 10 coffee places in San Antonio this quite unique stand serves a variety of coffee products said to beat Starbucks(?!), from the house it is located on Potranco a few hundred feet past Empresario road.
It is a drive through with a Seattle flavor and Louisiana twist.

San Antonio's own AREA 51- an outdoor venue located approximately 1.5 miles west on Potranco, a place to enjoy GREAT food, live music (see schedule), meet Aliens and just relax under the stars while the kiddos run around and have fun. Food varies but Asian, Mexican, BBQ, chicken wings and varied sweets such as Churros and funnel cakes are staples along with a bar called "The Tipsy Alien". The food varies by the week but there is always a variety to choose from.
Operating hours vary but open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sundays. Lots of room for the kids to run around (5 soccer fields available for use), this new park is growing in popularity by the week! Follow on facebook: AREA 51 Food Park.
