There’s Güero’s proper that is a fun and bustling Tex-Mex restaurant, then 2 doors down is their Oak Garden which is the REAL gem. Nestled under giant Live Oak trees complete with misters and fans there is always a live band playing, cheap tacos complete with free chips, salsa, and toppings bar and a bar full bar complete with frozen margaritas. An Austin classic.

If you’re hot, go here!! Natural spring water stays 67 degrees Fahrenheit year-round in this naturally fed pool (so its VERY refreshing in the summer and steamy in the winter!). No food or drink is allowed (water is ok) or music so it is very serene and everyone is respectful of each other’s space.
