Centennial Hall at the UA brings in performances from around the world. Love to ride a bike or walk around the campus to enjoy the 100's of trees and a huge green lawn for a game of frisbee.

One of our favorite 'special night out' restaurants. The dark mole sauce is superb as is the vegetarian tamale (probably the best tamale in town).

Sabino Canyon is a wonderful place for an early morning walk in the summer time or any time during the day during the rest of the year. There is water in the creek most of the year.

If it is a full moon, this makes for a very surreal evening outting, you can walk or bike the park 24 hours a day. The visitor center is open 9-5 and they do have guided walks. There is a fee.

There are more hiking trails and you can backpack in S.N.P East...when you cannot in S.N.P. West. Both are beautiful hiking, biking areas.

If you are here in the summer, check their schedule and go first thing in the morning to catch the animals up and about. There are plenty of indoor spaces but, the meandering pathways to view the desert animals...through this lush desert are not to be missed. At times, they have a night opening in the summer...their programming changes but, it is always planned well and very interesting.

Que faut-il apporter ?

Bring clothes to dress in layers.

It is cool in the morning and evening in the winter months. Be prepared to wear sleeveless during the day (at times) and jacket & scarf at night! Bring sunscreen any time of year. Hat and sunglasses too. Pack a stainless steel, dbl-walled water bottle. It keeps water cold.
