Cosmos is one of our favorite restaurants, we often gather there with friends and family. It’s situated next to the Palace of Justice (less than 10 minutes from the flat), and it offers an interpretation of Bulgarian traditional dishes with a funky twist and a high cuisine grasp.

the little bistro in front of the flat might not provide the best gastronomic experience, but it has everything you need for a nice lunch or dinner if you are in a hurry, or tired from a long day. We suggest you try the homemade chips, it’s delicious.

Ok, we all now that crazy hunger that wakes up after 10 pm, especially when the store is already closed. Avrazia is a typical Turkish restaurant that closes around 11 pm. You can find kebabs, home made dishes and delicious Turkish desserts. It’s a 3-minute walk from the apartment.

Sun Moon is your perfect spot, especially if you are a vagatarian/vegan or just an admirer of healthy food. It's not only a restaurant, it is a bakery and a nice small coffee hidden in Sofia's central streets.

One of the best pizzas in Sofia - although it is a small and hidden place in the park of the National Palace of Culture, we are deeply in love with their pizzas! Plus, it has a small garden, which makes your supper even nicer during the warm months.

BEST CAKES in Sofia. If you have the sweet tooth, Vila Rosiche will make your fantasy dance! The cakes there are extremely delicious, always fresh and with best quality ingredients. To prove that I will just share you a secret - my husband and I ordered our wedding cake from there and all the guests talked for months about it :) Plus, they have a beautiful garden outside, so it is perfect for sunny days.

Have you tried a so-called escape room? It’s a real-time experience of a team game that puts you in a scenario from which you need to escape, using your logic, agility and team spirit. Our favorite one is very close to the flat: it’s called Dextrophobia (http://dextrophobiarooms.com/the-first-room/) and it’s on a 5-minute walk from here - 50B Tsar Samuil. Only thing – you need to book your game in advance.

Carrusel is one of the trendiest places at the moment - cool interior design, cool music (there are often theme parties so you might want to check what would it be on the day you've decided to go), cool people.

The apartment is an emblematic cafe in Sofia. Once you get in you'll notice the venue is a real apartment decorated in artistic and funky style where you can have a cup of tea, a nice conversation about literature or watch a movie.

Great wine store. You will find a huge collection of Bulgarian wines. Sometimes there are degustation days, so be aware - the good wine is just around the corner!
