A Dublin institution, this place has been serving the exact same menu for more than 20 years. No frills sandwiches, soups and salads. Extra seating downstairs. Never change Simon!

The only downside to this deli is that it's not open on the weekend. But if you're visiting Monday to Friday this is your new favourite place. Also good for fresh pastries, which are in short supply in our area.

The cafe on the top floor of this bookshop definitely isn't trendy but it can surprise you with its good deals. Great if you need a good feed before a tour. Pancakes and coffee for €5, served before 12am.

This bar is good for everything, great food, board games, huge tables, wide selections of beer, a few good wines. It's fun on Saturday night and just as good to take the kids on a Sunday! Always a lovely vibe.
