This 4-5 hr return walk is an hours drive from Wanaka. The track is well formed and considered suitable for moderate fitness levels.
We recommend checking in to the local DOC office for current track conditions and weather updates and your rental car exclusions as the road up to the track may not be covered in the event of damage.
