This place has a burger that you can add beet root, fried egg and roast pork belly. its good. the "canned" tuna is also quite good..

Great brunch or dinner option, good drinks, pork belly sandwich, brisket sandwich and warm kale salad are all good. The drinks are also tasty.

Croissant, almond croissant, are my personal favourites, I've heard about everything else here being good, but I cant get past these 2 items and they have ruined them for me at other places, because now when I get an almond croissant anywhere Im assuming its like beau coup, but it's not beau coup.

Get the Eggs Benedict, its good and consistent, expect a line up on a weekend. Zen is a local staple for hung over kids, hipsters and common folk alike. I like the 1/2 and 1/2 order of the chorizo and the flo benedict greek eggs benedict and a latte (they are big) , but that's me.

Great Ramen and they offer "kaedama" which is a small order of noodles they add to you soup if your still peckish and amost done your noodles.

some great dishes and reasonably priced for what you get.. I like the salad with the soft boiled egg, the pho is good as is the burger. Wifey likes the frencher dsihes.. its all good.

OK this place is a long walk, or a quick bus/cab ride away.. everything I've had here is good but the Aburi sushi, is a return experience.. also good value as they do aburi combos where more places make you order by piece

Hand dragged or blade cut noodles.. with lots of northern chinese flair..
Dan dan bowl is good.. most dumplings are good, I like the cold noodle salad as well lots of the spicy dishes.

Pho Sho!
Good Pho, papaya salad and sticky dumplings (tapioca ones are neat)
Pho without all the stuff that you might not want to eat.. They don't do the trip, tendon, etc that some pho places do.

walk down vine street past 4th and you're on your way. nice beach, great people watching. the path is a nice walk and will take you to granville island if you follow it.

dirty hippies, in the best way.. Commercial has always had that vibe and sure its fancied up now but the core remains unchanged.
