Food scene
I love to go for comfort food while in Big Bear. FYI some places in Big Bear are cash only but there are plenty of cashless alternatives.
Having a hard time getting a table in the village? This place hustles to get you a nice table and this place has been here for as long as I can remember. It’s always a great choice if you like your food with flavor. I slurped up recommend the creamy masala sauce with cheese naan. Choose your favorite protein and pick the curry sauce and pair with garlic naan. It tastes like Christmas.

I usually hit Stater Brothers up if I’m shacking up in Sugarloaf over the weekend.
There is also a general store incredibly close by. I will sometimes walk here if I need to pick up a few items.

Snow chains
Don’t drive with your chains on if the roads are dry.

Pedestrian and cars barreling through unplowed roads
Move out of the road and wait for them to pass, because they’ll probably get stuck if they stop for you.
