Awesome brunch and lunch spot right here in downtown Gulfport. It's a less-than-mile beautiful walk to Stella's. (Hint: during the on-season, make a reservation...it gets packed, early.)

Total beach town! Great art scene. Close to everything fun.
The vibe is hip and fun with great restaurants but can be very busy, especially on the ‘On’ season. Try to Lyft or Uber as parking is pretty bad!
Some locals consider downtown St. Pete (DTSP) to be a tourist trap, but it’s fun to experience it at least once while you’re here.

Beaches
By far my favorite beach in the area. It’s quiet and lovely.
One of the most beautiful places in the area! Tips: there are a few small tolls en route. Pay $5 (per car) for the entire day. Pay at the pay stations and put the receipt on the dash.
The beaches are gorgeous, there’s kayaking rentals, bike rentals, and also a dog beach where your pups can run free. Must visit!

No car? Lyft is your best friend
You can Uber or Lyft just about anywhere in the city. There are tons of available cars and the wait is usually less than 5 mins. We also have a good bike share program, google “coast bikes”.

Beware of the flashing lights
If you’re driving around, be very mindful of any flashing lights! Pedestrians always have the right of way and there are tons of locations where flashing lights go off so people and bikes can cross. You must stop. If lights are flashing in a school zone, you must only go 15 mph. Also beware of all stop signs, it might not feel like it, but every other street will have a stop sign.

Check the weather beforehand
The weather from November - May is just about perfect, but there are some times where it strays and gets way hot, or pretty cold. Check your weather app prior to packing!

Beach general advice
We are a tourist town, which means everyone that comes down here wants to go to the beach. However, there’s a really great way to beat the crowds… You must go early and claim your spot! If it’s the height of tourist season, December - May, then we highly suggest you go to the beach no earlier than 10:30am. It’s not an exaggeration when we say that early, because it’s not fun to sit in traffic and have to drive around and around in circles trying to find a parking spot! Go early and reap alllllll the benefits of ease and relaxation.
