Sightseeing
There are several drive up to view waterfalls - definitely stop at Christine Falls & Narada Falls. Both are viewed within a quarter mile of parking.
Stop at Reflection lakes to see the sun come up or go down on Mt Rainier. Best time for photo ops as wind dies down then.
If possible, drive to the east side of the park to do the one mile hike to see the old growth trees in the “Grove of the Patriarchs”. There is a suspension bridge to walk across. Kids love this hike!
Paradise Visitor center - check out the interactive displays! If you are able to, hike some of the trails there. Gorgeous wild flower displays late July to early August!

Love this place! All animals are from the northwest. There is a free roaming area that is viewed from a tram, plus enclosures to walk around to view as well. My grandkids love it there!
