A community owned pub and restaurant just the 'other side of the mountain'..........a crowdfunded project supported by former local Rhys Ifan (famed actor) saved the pub from closure in recent times. Proper sawdust on the floor.....we often park up at the nearby car park and walk a circular route around the old quarry along forestry paths.....great views of the Preseli hills

Amazing ancient burial chamber......hidden just a couple of miles from Ysguborbach in the Preseli hills. Follow the brown tourist signs and park up in the lane next to it. A couple of hundred metres from the road along a level path.

Fab beach just north of Cardigan....bit of hike up and down 100 odd steps but worth it. There is a cafe halfway down tho. Or just take in the view from the cliff tops and look out for seals and dolphins. The little chapel is very photogenic too

You'll find a slower pace here out west.....but sometimes this can mean that places don't stick to their advertised times and websites and social media are not always up to date...consider it part of the charm. Always book in advance to double check your eating reservations.
