Food scene
Great food and drink with breathtaking views of the Squamish River. Outdoor patio, covered heated patio, and inside restaurant/pub area. Parking in the lot or along the nearby dyke can get full quickly, consider walking from our home if you have 10 minutes. Cross the street, walk west past the gas station and look for the small parking lot just on the other side of the gas station. That is start of the dyke, walk south 10 minutes along the dyke to get to the watershed.

Great local breakfast/brunch spot just up the road. Nice ambiance and great service. 2-3 minutes drive. Also good food throughout the rest of the day.

Great mountain biking area with trails for everyone near Alice Lake. Search on Trail Forks app or online for trail maps or walk over to Republic Bike Shop to get local goods on the trail network. You can access it by pedaling from our home east over the 99 hwy and up Doward Dr to a connector to Jack's trail (near Squamish Montessori Elementary School), follow Jack's trail north to access the trail network near Alice Lake. Take Brackentrail at the end of the day on your way back home. There is a reasonable amount of climbing required to access the Alice Lake trail area.

4 Lakes Trail
Great mountain biking area with trails for everyone near Alice Lake. Search on Trail Forks app or online for trail maps or walk over to Republic Bike Shop to get local goods on the trail network. You can access it by pedaling from our home east over the 99 hwy and up Doward Dr to a connector to Jack's trail (near Squamish Montessori Elementary School), follow Jack's trail north to access the trail network near Alice Lake. Take Brackentrail at the end of the day on your way back home. There is a reasonable amount of climbing required to access the Alice Lake trail area.
Sightseeing
Great dog walking and river sight seeing. The beach at Fisherman's park is great all year round for summer beach time or fall/winter walks. Get there 2 ways: 1) Walk to the small parking lot west behind the petro-canada gas station, walk up on the dyke, TURN RIGHT and walk about 20 feet, follow a small trail into the forest west off the dyke, follow this trail out onto the flood plane. There is a substantial network of trails that will take you to the river edge if you walk West and North and will eventually take you to Fisherman's beach in about 30-40 minutes. 2) Search in google for Fisherman's park and drive to the parking lot about 7 minutes away at the end of Judd Road.

Great access to the alpine with views of Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains. Excellent Friday evening concert series during the summers. Was closed but scheduled to reopen Spring 2020, check their website for details. Great for all ages, families, etc.
