Lake Como is a beautiful lake just 10 miles from town and it's a must-see. If you’d like... I have 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboard’s to rent for the day only 35.00 each. Great for swimming, hiking, kayak, paddleboard, and swim. There’s a beautiful bridge and waterfall if you walk to the back of the lake. For 5.00 per day (passes at parking lot bring 5.00 cash or check) you can enjoy the nice sandy beach, bathrooms, picnic tables and bbq’s so you can plan on staying the day. . .

Painted Rocks State Park is a really pretty drive approx 30 mins away....Drive along the West Fork and it's a picture at every corner. If you fish the West Fork is a terrific fishing river.

Lost Trail Ski Resort is a great way to enjoy the Winter. Just 30 miles south of Darby and at the Idaho/Montana border.

If Hot Springs is your thing...Just 20 miles North is a little hidden jewel. Great way to relax after skiing and or in the summer the take the cover off so you can enjoy the open air.

Darby Town...
From the Sundown cabin, the town of Darby is easily walkable, and I think it's a great way to see our charming little town.
The other option is to drive and park in the middle of town and walk around and enjoy the day.

Traveling with kids...
If you're traveling with kids you'll love our park in the middle of town with swings and slide. The school play equipment just 2 blocks away is amazing. Plus in the summer you must drive to Lake Como and hang out on the beach...Only 10 miles away!
