Wonderful restored medieval village with a couple of restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlours to choose from. Lots of ceramics in quaint shops. A beautiful church with views of the countryside.

This is a very child friendly restaurant, overlooking the tennis courts, serving good fresh wholesome food at reasonable prices. There is an inside and an outside dining area as well as a bar if you just want Tapas or a drink. It is owned independantly to the Tennis Club, though they share the toilet facilities. It is open from March to the end of November and run by a welcoming husband and wife team. During the season it may be necessary to pop in during the day to reserve a table for dinner in the evening as it could be busy. The main courses and tapas items are the best part of the menu, starters less so. If paying by credit card, advised to pay in euros not £ as better conversion usually.

On the main road near Pals (near the large roundabout in the direction of Toroella on the left) this is an attractive setting in a traditional Catalan farm house style building. Excellent regional cuisine with a warm ambience. More for celebration than meal with small children.

A very contemporary 'gastro' restaurant offering fine food with subtle flavours and unusual dishes. The taster menu is probably best for a first visit to find out what you like. More expensive than the usual tourist restaurants but still good value for the quality on offer (about on par with a high class restaurant in the UK).

Tucked away at the back of the newer part of Pals, as opposed to Old Pals on the hill, this is a very pleasant traditional restaurant serving good food. The menu del dia is especailly good value and quality.
