Sightseeing
The breathtaking Colosseo, a have to see during your stay. Please note that the ticket to the Forum Romano also will take you inside the Colosseo, how ever the most impressive is seeing it from the outside, if there is a very long line.

Favorite monument, originally the ancient temple for all the gods, now a church, so make sure to cover shoulders and knees in order to enter inside. It is really an impressive piece of architecture and definitely something to priorate seeing.

I guess I can't have a Rome guide book without putting in the vatican? Easy to get to using the metro from Piazza Vittorio, Use exit Ottaviano. I do however recommend to spend your entire day there if you go as it is huge, long lines, really impressive and so much to see!

My absolute favorite museum. The current architecture by Michelangelo him self. Contains treasures from the entire ancient Mediterranean world, all the way up to the Renaissance and the Baroque era. Stunning view over the the Foro Romano and the Colosseum

Breakfast is served here, with amazing coffee and pastries, family owned with a friendly service. If your lucky and pass by in the morning they pastries may still be warm, and are always served fresh from the day.

Feeling super tired one night and don't want to go far for a great meal? Then I really recommend this place, great seafood, and meat, as well as a very welcoming staff.

I know it is kind of far but if you plan to take the trip around ponte milvio, maybe see a Rome football match etc. and you find yourself in the area, I really recommend you to go to this place, good food, very popular and Italian feel. I love this place.
