Great place to get the ferry over the estuary then a lovely 45-60 min walk to Gara Rock Hotel to grab some lunch with amazing sea views.

Lovely walk from Salcombe through Batson and it's Thatched roofs to Snapes Point overlooking Salcombe across the estuary.

Lovely walk from Salcombe through Batson and it's Thatched roofs to Snapes Point overlooking Salcombe across the estuary.
I'd suggest catching the ferry across to East Portlemouth, and walking down the country lanes to Gara Rock Hotel for some food or drink with incredible far reaching views across the ocean, and then walking back along the coast path back towards salcombe and finishing on Mill Bay beach.

Book restaurants in advance as they all get booked up at peak times. Captain Flints is a queue system but moves quickly.
