Benaroya Hall is a beautiful building, home to both the Seattle Symphony and the Seattle Opera. If you want a more casual experience, bring a brown bag lunch and sit on the steps near the outdoor fountains; Monday-Friday, the symphony pipes their practice through outdoor speakers during lunch time.

The Central Library is a fascinating piece of architecture, designed to look like a stack of books. Browse new releases, wander the stacks spiral, or look down on 4th Avenue from the highest point in the library. The reading rooms are bright and airy, and the design is a lot of fun.
