Oceanside is fun and funky with some great new restaurants and breweries. Gentrifying by the week but in a cool way. Make sure to visit the famous Oceanside Pier! Thursday nights are Oceanside's Farmer's Market nights and they host a great variety of food and artisanal vendors. We love and recommend the Oceanside Museum of Art!

At the Lair-House, you are in the town of Leucadia within the city of Encinitas. You know you're in Leucadia because virtually the entire business district is located on the west side of Coast Hywy. 101 exclusively. This is due to the railroad tracks running on the east side. That fact had also always kept our little town very low key & quaint.
