On the right hand side of the Brunswick Heads Surf Club there’s a path leading to a dog friendly beach. This extends about 400 metres towards Tyagarah. Many people keep walking as it’s a quiet beach – but we didn’t tell you that.

From the main beach car park in Byron Bay, Belongil beach is dog friendly all the way up to Manfred Street in Belongil. Walk your dog along the beach from town and enjoy a coffee or wood-fired pizza at Treehouse which is 50 metres off the beach. Dogs are welcome to sit outside on tables with owners.

Simpsons Creek in Brunswick Heads is a beautiful, clear creek. Jump off the bridge at high tide. Just follow the locals. Or swim with your dog at low tide. You can even hire a paddleboard and take your dog for a ride.
