Stone Mountain Park is a 20 minute drive from our home. You will have to pay entrance fee of $15.00 but / and you will forget you are in the city. You can climb up the mountain or use the cable car. Check out the restaurant "The Commoner" at the lake, organ is playing from island across. From May until Sept they have nightly Laser Shows around 8:30, really great. Take blanket or chairs. There are also walking trails and a golf course.

only 5.3 miles from the house, right behind the Forum on Peachtree Parkway. Turn left at CVS and drive until it dead ends. You will be at the river in no time. Enjoy!
