Holloway’s is a quick walk from The Buttercup. They rent boats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, etc. They also have a rad pirate ship. My fur babies and I walk to the Marina in the mornings and evenings to watch the birds and sky change color. It’s very relaxing!

Rim Nordic is perfect for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. It’s geared for all levels and they have rentals. The price is right and the people are so friendly!

Snow Summit is a fun place to ski and snowboard! The key is to plan early. I recommend buying your ticket on line in advance of your trip so you don’t have to wait in line to get one and you can get a better deal. Try to arrive early to avoid the crowds and mid week is the best if you can swing it. I park in the free Brownie lot and ride the bus. Early birds get the best parking spots! The bus drops you off right in front of the lodge and lifts. There are lockers in the lodge to store your stuff.

Food scene
After a busy day, nothing’s better than getting fudged-up at North Pole. They have every flavor of fudge and other stuff which looks sooo good but the fudge is what calls my name!
