We have a wonderful hiking trail right down the street from the cabin. Follow Villa Grove Ave down to Travertine Rd. The trail head is marked. It’s about a 1 mile round trip hike along the National Forest line.

drive from the cabin) There are some steep slopes, but the trail is clearly marked and once you reach the end, your reward is a beautiful 360 view and the kids can dig for mini crystals. A yearly tradition for us! It is a 3.9 mile hike round trip. Bring water and snacks.
