Fantastic garden for a spot of lunch with a view to Dunster Castle. It is possible to walk from the property over Grabbist. It takes about 2hrs but it's well worth it, the views are stunning!

Recently reopened they serve take away wood fired pizzas from their terrace that you can enjoy on the beach. It's worth the short drive from Minehead.

If you're looking for something a bit spicier Ziangs do Asian street food to take away from a small outlet just beyond the Porlock Weir Hotel. Get there early as they often sell out!

The South West Coast Path start near the harbour in Minehead and stretches 630 miles along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset. There is a guide book at the property if you wanted to walk a section or two.

Lynton and Lynmouth are approx 30min drive over Porlock Hill and the views are breathtaking on a clear day. The Cliff Railway is unique and worth a visit. There are also lots of independent shops and places to eat.

When visiting Lynton and Lynmouth I woukd recommend walk up to Watersmeet for a cream tea.

Lovely quiet shingle beach with a path linking it to Dunster Beach. There is also a great cafe, Driftwood Cafe. The steam train stop here too which is a lovely way to get here.
