Sightseeing
If you fancy a long walk you can walk along the coastal path to Reculver or there's a couple of car parks nearby. Interesting to wander around outside and a great cycle route toward Minnis Bay and Margate. The King Ethelbert Pub is at Reculver and there's Hat Hats coffee shop too.

You can get the train from Herne Bay to Broadstairs. Nice beach walks, plenty of cafes and restaurants. Charles Dickens was a regular to Broadstairs and you can visit the Dickens Museum.
