Conseils aux voyageurs

À ne pas manquer

If you are into bison and quirky, ride train at Terry Bison

A vintage trolley ride will offer a quick overview of history and the main areas of the city. The Cheyenne Greenway offers many miles of pathway; bikes can be rented at the Cheyenne Depot kiosk. Wear you tennis shoes and buy boots when you get here. (Good prices at the antique stores.) Sunscreen and a hat are a good idea and definitely a jacket for evenings, a coat for a trip to the rocks at Veedauwoo. Even a summer day can be windy, it's WYO!
Manières d'économiser

Stop at the Wyoming information center.

Stop at the Wyoming information center just north of the border of Colorado and Wyoming. Lots of free information on Cheyenne and the area. Kids will enjoy watching mom or dad pedal a bicycle to generate electricity and a mammoth found in Wyoming can be viewed from 2 stories. This is a good cold weather stop. RVs can be serviced at this site as well.
