This is a huge lake area with great fishing. Visit the dam for even more views! You can grill out, swim, jog, bike, boat, etc.

Great place to take your dog or kids, this has an awesome playground and is a pleasant outdoor setting. There is a dog park here as well. Great for running or throwing a football or frisbee. There is a library across the street and a Your Pie within walking distance.

It’s my favorite Thai food! I always get the C4 or C5. It’s super spicy though so ask for no spice or 1 Star if you’re a chicken! Good vegetarian options as well.

The weather
I feel like the weather is unpredictable here. You might have cold rain one day and then hot sunshine the next. It’s a humid area so beware of your hair! Just pack for anything. Layers are your friend!
