Restaurants we like are Mr P's curious tavern, Star in the city, Skosh, Delrios and there are lots more but best to book before you come as the wait list can be long.

Contemporary garden at working country house. The grounds make for a fantastic walk and the cafe is excellent. We love the selection of plants to buy too. Check out any local events here too, they have festivals of all kinds (covid permitting). About 10 minutes from Malton.

About 20 minutes from Malton, it's a small yet beautiful hall situated in a very picturesque village. Be sure to ask for the stories about the civil war. Great tea room. National trust.
