Saturday morning food markets. Opens at 9 and closes around midday. Lot's to choose from for breakfast or brunch & coffee snacks. It's also the place to shop for organic produce from surrounding farms that come to you.

I favourite with locals . The menu is simple - but what they do they do well. Small with most of the seating outside. Great for coffee with snacks or wine with a cheese platter. Tip - the late afternoon happy hour is a great deal.

A little more upmarket than the usual casual beach vibe of most other places I recommend. Pricier - but quality food and luxurious surrounds with plenty of space still makes this a value offer.

Bondi needs more leafy courtyards - and this one by Justin Hemmes shows the way forward. This is particularly good for grounds with fab share plates - but it's also a fab date spot too.

They have a double cheeseburger that is the bomb - it's not on the menu - you have to ask for it. Unfortunately, it's not the best place to hang out (Bondi Tony's burger joint is better for hanging and have better fries and beers) - but it's the best burger I've had in Sydney.

Actually not my favourite burger in Bondi - see Burger Park for that - but it's a great place to hang and they do the best fries and have great beer on tap.
