Dress for all seasons
Believe it or not it can get a little cold here in the wintertime (I know, I know) typically November through mid- March can be a little unpredictable and we may have the occasional cold front slide through so be prepared and dress accordingly.
April through October is nothing but shorts and flip-flops!

The Key Deer are must to check out
You'll see them moseying everywhere on Big Pine Key and No Name Key. Be sure to get yourself some photos but keep in mind even though they'll walk right up to you they're still wild animals and need that respect.
Oh, and one other thing - please don't feed them.

We have minimal light pollution in the Keys so on clear nights, especially in the winter months the sky is unbelievable.
