Union is our favorite coffee shop in Dallas. In addition to amazing coffee, they have a great outdoor patio and lawn for stellar seating in the pandemic (pictures were pre-pandemic). They brew Onyx coffee which is easily some of the best in the country and host periodic events.

A new local coffee shop that you can walk to in a half hour. It's not big, but their rotating local roasters are all incredible and the baristas are well-trained to deliver a great coffee experience.

Deep Ellum is one of Dallas' most eclectic neighborhood full of shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and more. Pecan Lodge is where it's at for some of Dallas' best BBQ and Cane Rosso is a hit for super tasty, fancy pizza.

This is our favorite place to walk. Travel west to the Kessler Steps, Tennis Courts, and beautiful views of downtown from Stevens Golf Course. Travel East to a trail (turn left at the giant sinkhole...can't miss it) that will take you to the spillway for breathtaking views of Dallas.
