The Cotswold Wildlife Park is approximately 1 mile away. Set in 200 acres there is a plethora of animals to see, space for a picnic and for the children to let off steam, along with Pets Corner and train rides.

Sightseeing

Known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water is a popular tourist destination. The model village, Birdland, Cotswold Motoring Museum and The Dragonfly Maze are some of the attractions available.

Burford, 1 mile away , is a Mediaeval town and is known as The Gateway to The Cotswolds. The view from the top of the hill is spectacular and once in the town, the Tolsey Museum is worth a visit as are the plethora of foodie shops, pubs and restaurants, one of which is the award winning Spice Lounge. Don’t forget to look up and see the various roof levels, as well as visiting the church, where during the Civil War the New Model Army Banbury mutineers were imprisoned.

Adam Henson’s Farm Park is a great place to visit, where you can see lots of Rare Breeds, tractor rides around the Farm Park, along with a good little cafe/restaurant. Cotswold Farm Park is surrounded by rolling Cotswold Hills.

Adam Henson’s Farm Park is a great place to visit, where you can see lots of Rare Breeds, tractor rides around the Farm Park, along with a good little cafe/restaurant. Cotswold Farm Park is surrounded by rolling Cotswold Hills.
Minster Lovell Ruins, situated on the outskirts of the woollen town of Witney, is well worth a visit. It is in a beautiful rural setting beside the River Windrush, where you can sit and watch the world go by. Meander down to Old Minster and see the cricket ground and partake of some bitters at The Old Mill.

Very interesting place to visit as it incorporates different genres, ie, a shop selling beautiful woollen garments, designed and made in Filkins, 18th century buildings, a coffee shop and museum and it is FREE!!

It is quite an experience and so much more than just a garden centre. You could lose yourself for several hours there!
