This is a lovely park not far from central North Vancouver. It is a lovely picnic spot but it also offers both short and long hikes. Please prepare appropriately before heading into the woods. Carry the essentials, never hike alone, and leave a message with a friend.
Before or after, stop in at the "End of the Line Cafe" located near the park entrance.

Nice local beach. The seawall walk that extends from behind Park Royal, along Ambleside, and continues further across West Vancouver is also lovely.

This a great place for families and picnics. There's a nice beach, greenspace, and playground. There's a concession and washroom block. The views of Indian Arm and Burnaby are nice too.

Lonsdale Quay Market provides numerous shops and food options including our favourite "The Soup Meister." From here, enjoy the views of downtown.
The quay is also a public transit hub where local buses and the seabuses to downtown meet.
Additionally, the nearby Shipyard Square and pier are great for a stroll. Shipyard Square often has live music on the weekends in the evening and food trucks on Friday nights.
