It is located in the west of Gran Canaria. It has a difficult access since it cannot be reached by car, and the closest town to it is the small village of Tasartico. it becomes a full-day excursion that requires some effort.
First you have to drive to the small village of Tasartico. A remote little town located an hour and a half drive from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or an hour from Maspalomas.
You can find a small parking lot at the beginning of the path. A well-marked hiking trail of just 5 kilometers (one way). They are 5 kilometers of constant ascents and descents and a strong unevenness between volcanic, arid landscapes and lacking shade where to shelter. Approximately 2 and a half hours of walking to get there, and as many to return.
