Tangalooma Wrecks
Blue Lagoon is 42 hectares of fresh water filled from the fresh, underground water table that comes up through the sandy soil. The water is of such excellent quality, and with little salt, that Tangalooma can use it domestically, with some even claiming they have never tasted better water!
Blue Lagoon has its own distinctive flora and fauna, including dragonflies, damselflies and caddisflies, along with various algae, shrimp and crayfish.

Whale watch cruises run seasonally from approx. June to mid October. You can catch a cruise from the resort that normally departs at noon and returns at 3pm. At the Tours desk at the resort you can check availability and make reservations. Spectacular outing!
