It doesn't make the kid/pet friendly list, but this is my favorite hike in the area! It's very short, but rated hard, as it's STEEP. The rock formations look straight out of Dr. Seuss and the views at the end are breathtaking.

A popular, moderate hike with a mountain lake and amazing views. Our family loves to hike to the lake and pack a lunch. The water is shallow and fun for the kids and pups to splash around.

Our favorite brewery to visit in all of Oregon. A must visit after hiking Tamanawa Falls. It's about 45 minutes from the cabin and on the other side of the mountain near Parkdale, but if you're out that way, you must stop!

Our family's favorite restaurant to visit in the area. There is a little arcade in the upstairs of the restaurant and our kids disappear for hours while we hang with friends on the outside patio. A+!
