This is a great place that isn't a tourist trap if you're hungry! The kids eat more here than any other place we go. You can order off of the menu or do the buffet. The mural on the wall really give it character :))

This place always has live music. We go here for the laid-back atmosphere more than the quality of food. But the food IS good. The kids run around and play with all the games they have.

This is a local favorite. Authentic Italian you won't find downtown. It's a cool artsy neighborhood of Savannah. There is a River Street Sweets in walking distance. Easy parking.

This place is fun! They have sweets - including gluten free options. It is fun for the kids to paint while you enjoy a coffee. It's fun for adults without kids. It's just a cool place.

- Download the Tybee Parking App before you go.
- Do not get caught with trash on the beach. Bring a bag to put it in.
- Do not get caught with glass on the beach. Just don't bring it.
- North Beach is where most locals go. You can go there and catch a surf competition and eat at the North Beach grill. There are bathrooms.
- 3rd Street is where you can get chair and umbrella service. Sometimes it's worth it when you don't want to do all the work. You can walk up to "The Deck" to get food and drinks.
- We go to 6th street. You can still walk to "The Deck" from here.
- The Tybee pier is fun, the shopping is junky and fun. Everything you would want from a beach trip. BUT it gets really crowded on the beach and in the water during the summer.
- The back river is calm and full of locals. A totally different vibe if you're looking for something exclusive.
- South beach - It is very dangerous. People drown here every year because they do not read the HUGE SIGNS. It looks like a large beach but the tide comes in very fast out of nowhere. It creates an undertow and just - avoid south beach.

This is a new area. My husband installed the emergency radio system when they were building it. It is the latest and greatest hot spot in Savannah. There are multiple places to eat, shopping, and rooftop views.

This was always my favorite place to go as a kid. We love to eat at Vinny Van Go Go's and then get candy at the candy shop. There is usually live music and a lot happening here.

It's HOT!!!
It is very hot and humid in Savannah. Most people aren't prepared for that. In the summer - there will never be a time that it's okay to wear pants. Pack light! :)
