Open after 5:00 for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday. Though you might be able to walk in, I would recommend calling ahead @ (270) 575-3473. Located @ 112 Market Square, is very close to the house and other downtown establishments.

The Freight House owner was on Top Chief a few years ago and got second place. The shrimp and grits are a local popular dish. I like the Silver Fin which is an Asian Carp caught out of our local waters by commercial fishermen. Top shelf drinks can be 16$ a glass, so just be aware. The bar has a great bourbon selection. Top notch.

The food is holly cow delicious. It’s pricey, but some of the best menu items in Paducah. The bar selection is pretty darn goood too.

Definitely a place to go for a special occasion. Probably the classiest restaurant in the downtown area. Call for reservations.

In the old coke plant, there is a marvel of craft beer works for all beer drinkers. My favorite is the IPA called 37 Flood. Come and get a flight to help you find your beer of choice.

A very intimate match box theatre plays the movies of today and the past. It’s the only movie theater in town that will let you drink beer in the theater. Before the pandemic Maiden Alley would alternate a music venue, and hopefully that will return soon. For now checkout the movie schedule on maidenalleycinema.com.
