The Princetown Tavern is a terrific spot for a meal, my favourites being the surf n turf, and the pizzas are super! Just 15 minutes from us and 5 from the Apostles. Sunset and meals at the Tavern- perfect! Don't leave it too late for meals in the area!

Great for brunch, coffee, snacks and lunch- Amy really knows how to look after her customers! Nothing to look at- the shed is great for food and local history. Worth a stop- and that fire over Winter- wow!

Some people rate this their favourite spot on a sunny day. The 12 Apostles on a smaller scale- enjoy both the Bay of Islands and Martyrs- terrific views.

Iconic viewing spot.
Love visiting the Apostles in the morning for the bright sunrises/ quieter time or at sunset for those magic photos. I avoid middle of day and afternoons because of the crowds from tourist buses.

Small carpark, but big views! A couple of excellent lookouts towards the Apostles makes Gibsons Steps the must see spot for photographers and tourists. A wander down the steps leads to the best photo opportunities! And those sunsets!

This Lookout is Australia's highest Clifftop lookout so worth a visit. Part of the Great Ocean Walk and just a 10 minute walk from the carpark.

Love the views, history and wandering around the grounds of the Lighthouse. Grab lunch, a coffee or enjoy the tour. There is a charge and don't arrive too late in the afternoon!

Not a swimming beach- I'd head to Princetown for that, Wreck beach is great for its views and walks and those anchors on sunset make a spectacular photo! Part of the Great Ocean Walk, there is even a chance of finding gemstones along this beach!

A 5 minute drive from us down the road, then 5 minutes walk to the Moonlight Head Lookout- you'll know it- 2 seats and amazing views!

The walk goes for over 100kms from Apollo Bay to the Apostles and is just 1km down the road from us. Southern Anchorage can be a base for a days or a weeks duration of walks and we can look after your total package!
