The Roseau River is great for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fishing. Visit the Roseau River Park, just a 15 minute drive away. Or go a little further and take a hike around the Ducks Unlimited wildlife area near Rosa, MB.

Neighbourhoods

Gardenton is home to some of the oldest Ukrainian heritage in the country! Visit the Old St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church and cemetery to see settler history. Take a walk on the Prairie Shore Trail just moments away, and keep you eye out for wildlife like deer, bears, cranes, swans, and coyotes! Not to mention the Historic Timber Truss Bridge that crosses the Roseau River. Get in contact ahead of time to take a look in the Ukrainian museum, or to find out if its tubing/canoeing season.
