Good Creole and New Orleans style food 24 hours a day. Less than a block off of Bourbon, but I've never seen it crazy or overflowing. Nice haven from the craziness of the Quarter.

AT 701 MAZANT STREET. Really good southern barbecue smoked daily. Barbecue is a foreign food to NOLA, but coming from a Tennessee native, these guys get it right!

Nice full service casino. Newly smoke-free after the local ordinance went into effect Spring 2015. I'm a fan of poker, and would happily join you if you'd like to play a table or join a tournament.

Swimming in their heated saltwater pool or hot tub is excellent year-round! At busy times, there is a bar open out back by the pool. Inside bar serves above average bar food and sandwiches as well.
