Good beer. Nice people working there. Great curries for those who've been traveling a while and miss spicy. They are really spicy, proper curries. They also have good breakfasts on Sat and Sun. noon.

Cafe Notable. These are old-fashioned, lovely cafes that have not changed in 100 years or so. Food is never awesome. It's suitable for lunch. But the atmosphere is unbeatable.

Our absolute favorite restaurant in San Telmo. Sort of pricey for the neighborhood, but it's the best ojo de bife (ribeye) in the city. It's small, so do reserve.
