Santa Cruz la Laguna, our closest village, is a 45-minute walk from the hotel. Exit from Villa Sumaya, turn right and walk along the lakefront for about 20 minutes, until you reach the main dock at Santa Cruz, (you will also see hotels and a road at the dock). Turn right up the hill; as the road is very steep, we advise that you consider taking a tuk-tuk up the hill (they will charge 5 Quetzales per person).
