Bassenthwaite Lake Station Cafe
The cafe is a restored railway station with a fully size replica steam train on the former Cockermouth to Keswick line.
Breakfast, brunch and lunch and Afternoon tea are served 7 days a week, highly recommended you book a table, as this is a very busy popular cafe and sight seeing place.
Coffee and cake are served also, fresh Scones made daily served with jam and clotted cream 🙂
Train was built for film set Murder on the orient express 2017 with Jonny Depp, well worth a visit.
Breakfast is amazing, cooked to order, local produce.
Brunch and lunch, also Afternoon Tea this must be order in advance though.
