It's become so popular this year or so. If you've not tried surfing then I recommend having a go. Contact St Vedas Surf shop at Coldingham Bay and they will sort you out with lessons and all the gear.

This is the closest beach to our holiday houses. We can spend the whole day here and see the tide go in and out because of the caravan camp facilities - toilets and shop. And a play park. It makes life easy with children. Pack a big picnic and blankets and enjoy the day.

This is the local thrill seeking centre. Lots to keep everyone entertained. Wakeboarding, obstacle course Foxfalls, Ringos, ZipTrail and set in the beautiful woodland surroundings.

One of our family favourites is Oblo. Kids love their pizza, I love their fish dishes and husband loves their homemade burgers. Finish off with their famous ice cream Giacopazzi's.
