Great, healthy, mostly Asian food in a space that fills up quickly. No bookings, just get there early. Particularly great for breakfast and lunch. Great coffee and coast ambiance. Check opening hours on the door as it is seasonal.

This beach used to be a secret. No longer. From the car park you walk on a raised walkway through palms and ferns and come to the beach entrance. Probably the most secluded and beautiful beach on the coast.
Parking is limited, so pack up your picnic and get down there early. The exit from Lakes Way is between Coomba Rd and the Smith's Lake turnoff.

Grab a mat or body board and head to One Mile Beach in Forster for a ton of fun in the sun, sliding down the giant sand dunes. Dogs are also welcome at the northern end of the beach, off leash before 9am and after 5pm. Great for the whole family!

Popular for bushwalking, kayaking, swimming and fishing and famed for its surfing break on the headland at Saltwater Beach. The park is a declared Aboriginal Place of cultural significance to the local Biripi people. There are several important Dreaming sites here. This is a special place.
