If you like to hike, or to be outdoorsy, this park is amazing. It is relatively close to the house and you feel like you are in paradise. I highly recommend it. Like any outdoor spot in Texas, take water, sunblock, mosquito repellent and something to snack on. Maybe a blanket to picnick, you will keep coming back to this place for life.

Muller park is the perfect spot, it is beautiful. I try to go as often as I can, they have a Farmers Market on the weekends, I sometimes buy bread to feed the ducks. Amazing place, the. cross the street and have a coffee or a drink in the Halcyon, or an artisan ice cream at Licks Honest Ice Cram, they have the most amazing flavors. Or one block away from the park, there is this Irish pub, great fettuccine Alfredo, B.D. Riley's Irish Pub at Mueller but honestly we go there for the drinks. Really good

I'm not from Austin, but when I saw the Capitol for the first tim, I knew I was meant to live in Austin, Texas. It is breathtaking, bring a blanket and lay in the grass for a while, read a book.
Bring a freeze and play with the kids... if you brought kids, of course. Or listen to a podcast, you'll love it while sitting on a bench, absorb it's beauty.

you didn't visit Austin if you didn't go eat Pluckers. our personal favorites are Lemon pepper all drum wings and a toxic drink for me. My husband loves Spicy Lemon Pepper extra wet all drums wing for him and a Mother plucker, which is a large beer. We are not big dessert people but the Fried Oreos a la mode or the Fried Twinkie a la mode are good. Appetizers, we recommend the nachos. Delicious 🤤

The pics that Airbnb provides are not updated, but Taqueria Guadalajara was remodeled in 2020 and it looks amazing. Not to mention the food is delicious, they have live music on Friday and Sunday, it is a real gem
We love the Chilaquiles Verdes, the Flautas or the Molcajete, but really, everything is good.

Great view, ambience, food, drinks, tons of parking space, not just right in front, but across the street, there is parking too. I always take my guests there, just don't go when you are starving, because they are slow, but it is so much fun.

I don't think I need to say much, pictures will give you the hint. Great coffee, great view, great desserts, amazing spot. It gets busy, but you will love it.

Why? Because you get to skate while hiding form the heat! You can rent the skates and then have a blast.
Family environment. Later in the day they they have adults only and 80s or 90s music, you'll have a blast.
